Maxim Shalygin’s composition is written for string quartet, but feel free to perform it with any quartet. Maxim has arranged Drop after drop for various line-ups: string quartet, string orchestra, cello quartet and quintet, cello octet, clarinet and saxophone quartet. Each festival invites a quartet from their own network to perform drop after drop and share the recording online. The costs of performance, filming, and streaming will lie with the participating festival. All types of videos are welcome: from phone recordings to professional clips.
Send us the video of your performance and we will add it to this website and share it on Facebook. Be sure to share it on your own socials and newsletter to reach out to your own audience.
When sharing your performance on social media, please use the tag #festivalsforcompassion. Your video will also be included on this website.
Not a festival, but a string quartet? Please, join! Feel free to perform and share the work as well. We are happy to share your performance on this site.
The score is published by Donemus Publishing, and can be downloaded for free. If you want to use the logo of Festival for Compassion in your video or elsewhere, you can download it here as well.
